a ten-minute YouTube video is 1,500 spoken words or more. at that length a fixed-speed scroll either races ahead or stalls. open prompter follows your voice with on-device speech recognition, so the script moves when you talk and waits when you pause to think or to show something to the camera.
your outline becomes your chapters
write the script as a markdown file with a heading for each section: intro, the setup, the three points, the call to action. every heading drops a titled marker into the recording as it crosses the read line. open the take in Premiere Pro and the sections are already on the timeline, which is most of the way to a chapter list for the description.

what it does not do
it records with the front camera only. it has no captions and no editor, so you still cut in your own editing app. and it runs on iPhone and iPad, not Android or Mac.
